Project Description

Holistic Living on Wheels is the manifestation of a motivated team of artists, professional healers, students, instructors, and recent college graduates who share a passion for promoting healthy lifestyle choices, environmentally responsible behavior, and community building techniques. The mobile project aims to inspire individuals and communities across the country to live energized, productive lives. It does so by focusing attention to areas of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. The project disseminates information on sustainable living practices, offers holistic healing services, and provides nutritious meals to the public - all free of charge.

Holistic Living on Wheels is the brainchild of 22 year old Asa Dean, a student and practicioner of reflexology in Atlanta, Georgia. When Dean purchased a school bus in January of 2010, his dream was to one day assemble an inspirational group of young adults who would travel the country sharing their knowledge and gifts with the people who needed it most. In spring of 2011 this vision was realized as a strong team of friends pooled their resources over a four month period to convert the school bus into a mobile teaching, living, and cooking quarters. The team eagerly prepares in anticipation for June 28th, 2011, which marks the departure date for the first leg of the bus´s journey to cities, gatherings, and communities across the east coast. The Holistic Living on Wheels Project is ready to leave a wake of inspiration everywhere it goes and and appreciates your support!
